Product information
White fine powder of crystallographic structure of rutile, non-toxic, non-flammable and chemically inactive, surface treated with aluminium and zirconium compounds (in the amount of 3% as Al2O3 and 0.35 % as ZrO2 respectively) and modified with organic compounds of hydrophilic nature.
TYTANPOL® R-003 has got very good optical properties (high gloss, low haze of gloss, high lightening power and hiding power), it is easy to disperse and highly weather resistant.

Application
TYTANPOL® R-003 is an universal pigment, particularly recommended for high quality paints used indoors and outdoors, both water-thinnable and solvent-borne (industrial, for building purposes, decorative, renovation), air drying enamels, paints of high content of solids, paints of “coil coatings” and “can coatings” types, ship paints, powder coatings, road marking paints and radiation cured paints.
It is successfully used also for pigmenting of plastics (PVC sections, vinyl panels, plastisols, polyolefines, unsaturated polyesters, polyurethanes, polystyrenes, epoxide materials, and linoleum) as well as wallpapers and paper coatings.

TYTANPOL® R-003 is a pigment that is safe in transport, use and utilisation. Detailed information concerning safety of use of our pigments is contained in the Material Safety Data Sheet.The pigment may be used in products designed for direct contact with food – it has got the Health Quality Certificate of the Polish National Institute of Hygiene HŻ/C/00036/05.
